Tortuga is a brand I’ve been working with for a few years now. I’ve photographed their backpacks in Nicaragua, Bulgaria, Greece, and a handful of other places in between—basically, wherever I’ve been living or traveling with a camera in one hand and their gear on my back.

Granada is one of my favorite places to shoot in Nicaragua. The colors, the architecture, the afternoon light bouncing off the old walls—it’s hard to take a bad photo here. Recently, I did a personal branding session for a woman who needed photos for her website and business, and it reminded me how perfect this city is for portraits.
